South Dakota Insurance Identification Card |
The title of the form. ACORD 50 SD, South Dakota Insurance Identification Card, is used as proof of automobile insurance. The differences between the ACORD Automobile Insurance Card, ACORD 50 WM, and the South Dakota card are: - The addition of check boxes wherein it must be indicated whether the vehicle is insured under a commercial or personal policy. - The addition of the statement, "Coverage Provided by this Policy Meets the Minimum Liability Limits Prescribed by Law.", to the front of the card. - This card must be issued in duplicate. ACORD 50 is still acceptable in South Dakota. However you must meet the criteria referenced above. |
