After purchasing, you will receive a Forms Boss Plus Receipt email.
The Forms Boss Plus Receipt email will show when your License Expires.
Close Forms Boss Plus on all computers.
Make a backup of your data. Here are the steps for backing up your data.
Complete all the below steps one computer at a time!
Nonsubscribers
The software will be a demo for nonsubscribers.
If you would like to purchase a Forms Boss Plus subscription, please call 800-208-1977.
Once you have been given a registration number no refunds will be issued. It's important that you install the demo and
are satisfied that it will function to your satisfaction before registering.
Download the setup2023.exe
Click the Download button below.
Run or open the setup2023.exe file after the download has completed.
Windows Defender SmartScreen Warning
Next, a Windows message may appear that says "Windows protected your PC". Click "More info".
Next, click "Run anyway".
User Account Control Warning
Next, a Windows message may appear that says "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?". Click Yes.
Setup Dialog
The Setup dialog should appear, click Next.
Choose the folder to install the program files. c:\fbp is recommended. Click Next.
The upgrade will automatically set the data folder location using your existing Forms Boss configuration.
On a standalone system, this is normally c:\fbp\data

Choose the folder to install the schedule files. c:\fbp\schdata is recommended. Click Next.
Click Install and the setup will start copying files.
When the process is complete, click the Finish button.
Converting Previous Version Data
The prompt to convert will only occur when upgrading from last year's software.
Make sure Forms Boss Plus is not open on any computer.
Double-click the Forms Boss desktop. A message stating that the "Oops, the data fields are the wrong version" Click OK.
When the Forms Boss Plus Convert Previous Version is open, click the Convert button.
This can take a few minutes depending on the amount of data you have entered.
When it has finished, "I am through converting the Data Files." appears. Click the OK button.
Opening Forms Boss Plus
Start Forms Boss Plus by double-clicking your desktop icon.
Entering Registration Code
If license expired, prompt appears when opening program:
A dialog will appear for you to enter your Agency Name, Agency Zip Code and Registration Code.
Complete these 3 boxes exactly as they appear on your paid receipt email. It is case-sensitive and punctuation-sensitive!
Click the OK button.
If license is not expired, but the message that the program is expiring soon appears:
Click Help, Open Agency Setup Form from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Click the Register button on the Agency Setup Form..
A dialog will appear for you to enter your Agency Name, Agency Zip Code and Registration Code.
Complete these 3 boxes exactly as they appear on your paid receipt email. It is case-sensitive and punctuation-sensitive!
Click the OK button.
Complete the Agency Information and click OK on the right side of the Agency Setup Form.
Nonsubscriber:
Demo mode does not require entering the registration code. Click OK on the dialog if it appears.
